Your CCTV System Explained
Cameras
Our standard 'bullet' camera has a 4.3mm fixed lens, 420 TV line
resolution and built in infra red led's with automatic activation.
This gives optimum performance in low light, giving colour pictures
in normal light and b/w in darker conditions.
If higher resolution cameras are required these are available at
extra cost - contact the Homezone team by email or phone.
The effective range is 10-15 meters and the unit is water resistant,
suitable for outside use. Operating temperatures are from -10deg
to +50deg.
They are compact and lightweight and use 12v dc input
We also now offer a Vandal resistant external dome camera with
2.9mm varifocal length lens and 540 TV line resolution. This is
not a fully day/night camera, but can operate to fairly low light
levels down to 0.25 lux. It has 3-axis movement of the camera within
the dome housing to allow for precise positioning and is waterproof.
Digital Video Recorder
DVR recording has fast become the most popular method of CCTV recording,
with extended recorded periods without the need to change tapes.
No deterioration of image quality, no matter how many times you
record onto the recording device.
Quick and easy access to footage.
Images can be viewed over the internet (subject to certain technical
requirements - we will be happy to advise)
The DVR will come with a standard 250gb data storeage hard drive.
This can be upgraded to 500gb at additional cost. There is a handy
calculator on our quotation site so that you can work out for yourself
the storage capacity you will need.
Motion detection facility allow you to record only when there is
unexpected activity. Areas of unwanted movement can be blocked out,
such as hedges or trees.
Monitors
We offer 14" steel cased monitors or 15" and 17" flat screen monitors,
which can be added to your quotation as required. These are linked
to your CCTV system through the DVR and can show individual, scrolling
or split screen images.
Other Viewing Options
With additional connection devices, cameras can be linked to your
home TV or PC, with or without separate DVR. |
